Honey Creek Creamery prepares for 2010 opening
Expect a new, unique addition to next summer’s farmers markets.

That’s when Honey Creek Creamery should be ready to sell its locally-produced goat cheese. The owners, Sharon Oamek and Janna Feldman of Honey Creek, are currently sampling chevre at farmers markets. . . .

. . . Oamek said she will keep the business local.

“I’m really into local sourcing,” she said. “I won’t go onto the Internet to send cheese elsewhere. There’s nothing right here. We’d like to provide fresh artisan cheese that isn’t shipped from California.” . . .

Our neighbor is friends with the Oameks.  We have had some of their goat cheese & really enjoyed it.  We are excited to have locally produced products available (soon....).

Every time I see this thread title, I always think it says "Honey Creek Cemetery".
