Thunderstorm Photos

It seems like the 2011 thunderstorm has most likely ended around here. Â I’ve had a lot of fun trying to get photos of storms this year and am grateful I never got hurt. Â Every time I look at these, I think about how many people were hurt or killed by storms this year. Â It’s a shame something I find so beautiful can be so destructive.

If anyone else would be willing to share some of their storm shots here I would LOVE to see them.

A few of these I've posted before but wanted to put them all on one page.

The very first picture of lightning I ever took. Â I was actually at this location all day shooting the wildfire (which was started by lightning). Â Then, just after sunset, another storm rolled in. Â Goodyear, Arizona
