Tractor Relay Across Nebraska 2012

Post by nebugeater »

Probably not an interest that many that frequent here have but Saturday was the start of the first of what is hoped to be more Tractor Relay Across Nebraska drives.  The NAFA ( Nebraska Antique Farming Association) is sponsoring a tractor drive across Nebraska that loosely follows the route of the Pony Express.  These photos were taken on Day 1 along the route between Plattsmouth and Waverly where I went out to see them.  In addition to Waverly they have overnight stops in York, Grand Island, Kearney, Cozad, North Platte, Ogallala, Liscoma and end in Lyman

Here are a few pictures that I took while watching it on it's first day on Saturday.

The complete set that I took can be found here.

Wish I would have known about this earlier.  My father in law would have been all over this.  He's got a collection of antique Farmalls that he restores/hobby farms with, that I'm sure he would have enrolled in the relay.
