Spent the morning this past Saturday at Dove Valley, the Broncos training camp in Centennial, CO. I read the teams website rules first and took the point and shoot, as DSLR's with lenses longer than a credit card are prohibited. that would restrict me to my 35mm f/1.8 which I didn't expect would be of any use.
I learned, after we found a nice spot on the sideline berm, that that's a rule they don't bother enforcing. Rats!
Anyway, admission is FREE, plenty of onsite parking for FREE, a medical clinic offered skin cancer screening exams with MD's onsite for FREE (I passed and got a swag bag) and the concessions onsite sold soft drinks and water for a buck.

I can see that... not so much for security but to keep spectators from getting leveled. They cleared one section of the crowd during goal line drills for ten minutes, then let them back when the drills were finished. During one set of drills, they instructed the first few rows of folks to be prepared to brace themselves if a player came their way. they have security guys every ten yards along the field to keep folks honest and at one point, three of them were getting bored and were visiting with each other. A few minutes later, a staff member came along and chewed their butts. ÂCoyote wrote:Nice. They were talking about the security on local radio yesterday. Apparentl they have lots of rules and regulations for fans and even reporters. If you are along the sidelines you cannot sit down, you have to st and or be on a knee - safety reasons - but they are strictly enforced.
All in all, a pretty casual feeling there.
