Pinewood Bowl

Post by almighty_tuna »

I got the chance to shoot a couple of shows down at Pinewood Bowl in Lincoln. I think it's officially my favorite concert venue in the state. Hopefully this year was successful enough that they'll return with another series next year.

Here are some of my faves from Band of Horses, My Morning Jacket, Dawes and Mumford & Sons

Thanks, Josh!

That's sadly true, Eric. But on the plus side all the drummers in these bands had all their arms and didn't suck.

Thanks, Brad! Yeah, it was fantastic. Good sightlines, the stage wasn't too high...just great all around.

No, I don't care, to each their own...

However, I have heard two interviews recently.  One with Rick Allen (1 arm drummer) and one with Joe Elliott (lead singer) about the 1 arm drummer. His comeback from loosing an arm is an amazing story.
