Two Questions

Two Questions:

1.  Do the colors in these three look the same for different?
2.  What program are you viewing them with?

ProPhoto RGB

Adobe RGB (1998)

sRGB IEC61966-2.1

I guess my next question would be why some of them change colors when you post them on different sites?  That first one with the "ProPhoto RGB" almost turns purple when you put it on Pinterest...

The blue does go darker, but not the purple I was expecting. But the sky is definitely darker...

Does the bird or the bark look like it has a yellow/green tint to in one the "ProPhoto RGB" on the Pinterest version?

I am posting from an iPad, so my screen may not be the best judgement on the hue.

Here is some advise I got on a photo forum:
WAYCOOL wrote:Some web browsers are not profile aware and some web sites convert photos on import stripping the profile info in the process. The best thing to do is convert to sRGB the web standard before you post.
hugowolf wrote:The idea is to use ProPhotoRGB, or a wide gamut space, as a working space. When saving the image as a jpeg for web use, then sRGB is far safer. Many web browsers are not well color managed: Firefox is probably the best managed, IE9 and 10 aren’t bad, but others are much worse and will be unable to display a ProPhotoRGB image well.

Apart from anything else, an image in a wide gamut space really needs more than the 8 bits per channel that jpeg offers.
