Nebugeater was asking me about 500PX the other day. Its very similar to Flicker, your can follow people, like photos, favorite photos, comment on photos, etc, which is cool. But somehow they also have a "pulse" for your photo. It runs on a 24 hour cycle so every day your pulse is different. It usually peaks on the first day and drops off after that. They have some sort of formula that takes your photo's views, likes, and favorites in to account and gives you a pules. It seems like a decent photo will get a pulse above 80, a good photo will be above 90, great about 95 and the best of the best hit 99+. I have never seen 100, I think 99.7 or 99.8 is the highest I have ever seen. Its a nice way to quickly see what people think of your photo. People don't seem to leave too many comments on photos anymore and Facebook is so messed up a photo that use to get 100 likes gets 10 or 12 now.

So far my first 4 photos have hit 93.5, 95.5 (those two still have about 6 hours until they hit the 24 hour mark), and the other tow peaked out at 92.7, and 94.1. If you like looking at great photos, its a really good place to look. Be careful, they do have "adult" material on there too. Not p0rn, but classy portrait section.
