phone camera

Postby Coyote » Sun Jan 25, 2015 6:45 pm

So, I am again in the market for a new phone, but this time I want to make sure that it has a better camera in it than this windows phone with s Carl Zeiss 8MP camera. Anyone have any good experience with a camera phone.

I have an HTC M8, and I like the camera on it. The M9 should be released here in a few weeks, if you're willing to wait. The only issue I have is that sometimes the software wants to apply some bullsh*t Instagram type effect every now and again. Eventually I'll figure out how to disable it.

My wife has an IPhone 6 plus and they are right. Phenomenal pictures. If I get a chance I'll post some.

On the other hand my Samsung Evergreen cheap phone has taken some great pics too.

Ok, a few months later... By Monday I have to decide whether I like the iPhone 6 or the Samsung Edge 6 better. One is on an iOS platform, the other runs Android apps, I hear the edge takes better pictures, what is the word on the street?

I have been on the ios operation system for a couple years now. Unless Android made serious changes, I would go with apple every day of the week.

My iphone 5 takes good photos, and my wife iphone 6 takes even better photos.

My phone is basically for Facebook, Twitter, and Untapped, anything else I would still use my DSLR.
