Re: Photos shot with iPhone 6 (and apps)
What is the Resolution on the 6?
iPhone 5 = 3264x2448
10.9x8.2 @ 300 DPI
My Canon 5D3 = 5760x3840
19.2x12.8 @ 300 DPI
For the most part, the iphones can do what a regular camera can do in every day situations. Obviously they are too slow for sports, and limited in low light and high DR situations, but whenever people ask my if I could suggest a good point and shoot, I laugh and say "You have an iphone, you don't need a point and shoot".

Yes, and people shot some very nice photos using a Brownie Starflash or an Instamatic, plus those folks did not have Photoshop.

There is an photo editing app for the iPhone called Snapseed which is apparently really good. I haven't messed with yet yet.Omababe wrote:plus those folks did not have Photoshop.
Anyone else tired of the gimmickey instagram photos?

It is pretty amazing how good some of the iphone photos are though. A big part of it is knowing how to compose a good photo.
He said "They are some big, ugly red brick buildings"
...and then they were gone.
...and then they were gone.

Did the third photo down (Phoenix desert) remind anyone else of this?
