i680 lookout (Scenic stop)
We went north specifically after finding this in Google Images. A fun-ish stop outside Omaha.

Neat!! Where is this place?

Great photos. I just stopped there with my family last summer, that is the first time I had been there in years.

Thanks, all. My buddy said this place existed but could never find it. So we stared at Google maps for a while, and voila. It is only accessible westbound though.

That's a pretty fun place to stop at and great view.

Brad, you should get a picture from up there!
Re: i680 lookout (Scenic stop)
I's seen it, but never stopped. Looks like a cool place to do a long exposure with the interstate right there (assuming the tower is more stable than the its big brother at the Nebraska State Parks).daveoma wrote:Brad, you should get a picture from up there!

It does sway if it is windy. Make sure you check the hours of operation if you are thinking of doing a night shoot.Brad wrote:I's seen it, but never stopped. The hours of operation are stupid, something like 8-6 Monday- friday. We were there after hours of operation...
