i680 lookout (Scenic stop)

Post by Athomsfere »

We went north specifically after finding this in Google Images. A fun-ish stop outside Omaha.

Neat!! Where is this place?
When fortune smiles on something as violent and ugly as revenge, it seems proof like no other that not only does God exist, you're doing his will.

Great photos. I just stopped there with my family last summer, that is the first time I had been there in years.

Thanks, all. My buddy said this place existed but could never find it. So we stared at Google maps for a while, and voila. It is only accessible westbound though.

I's seen it, but never stopped. Looks like a cool place to do a long exposure with the interstate right there (assuming the tower is more stable than the its big brother at the Nebraska State Parks).

It does sway if it is windy. Make sure you check the hours of operation if you are thinking of doing a night shoot.

Yes it sways.

The hours of operation are stupid, something like 8-6 Monday- friday. We were there after hours of operation...
