Well, I decided it was time to part ways with my little Canon PowerShot A40 2-mega pixel digital camera and upgrade to a little more serious camera. Today I am buying a Canon PowerShot S1 IS, which has a humble 3.2 megapixels but a generous 10X zoom. I am really looking forward to taking some nice photos with that super zoom!
Combined with that, I am upgrading to Qwest DSL at my apartment (from AOL dial-up), so I can post my photos even faster to the web.
So be prepared for some magnificent photo threads of Omaha whenever I come back to my hometown (the first will be October 2nd during our forum meet). Until then, you'll have to settle for some outstanding Denver threads, which I will post in the City Photos forum at Skyscraperpage from time to time. I will also be traveling to Dallas next weekend and to Los Angeles and San Diego two weeks after that, so stay tuned!
