I've been wanting to get DTO LUV for awhile. Just hasn't been a priority.

I have some pictures of that car from when we were at the opening of the new Central High stadium.

When I moved to Colorado I lucked out and got "KAT" in my license plate which is cool because I have a cat. I too would like to have the 007 for my numbers.
Although I won't be bidding on Warren's car, I do have my eye on this little gem to head up my new Metra commuter train:

Buffett's Lincoln Town Car Fetches $73,200 in Charity Auction
The Lincoln, with fewer than 14,000 miles on the odometer, has a beige leather interior. It comes with Buffett's personalized "Thrifty" license plate. Five-year-old, low- mileage Town Cars in top condition are valued at about $12,000 by the Kelley Blue Book.

I've seen NVR L8 (or is it NVR LTE?) Â I don't remember which but I've seen it a few times now.
I assume it's a wizzard, as Gandalf reminds us, a wizzard is never late he arrives precisely when he wants to.

Heh. I've probably not captured that one because they're speeding and never stopped.
I've seen several advertising that they
are late.

Those are cute. Â I've never had a vanity plate. Â I wonder what I would put if I did.
I can get pushed out because I'm "too much" for some. Then, an observer of me comes suddenly swooping in to "fill my shoes." People are always more accepting of the new one, because their feathers aren't truly ruffled by them. (Yawn) I can count on it every time.

I saw one today on a Ford Escape that read SPNGBOB (Sponge Bob). It made me chuckle.

I saw another variant of that last year out at the wildlife safari.
Today I uploaded my 500th vanity plate to flickr! It was on a Lexus which is par for the course. I think I've seen more Lexuses (Lexi?) than any other make with vanity plates.

Several weeks ago I saw a De Lorean with a vanity plate that read "FLUX IT." As a Back to the Future fan, it made my day. I don't suppose you have a photo of that one do you?

Be on the look out for '74 UFO' as well.
I 'used' to be a big car buff... and one of my favorite cars is the Detomasa Pantera (the car attached to this license plate)... they are very rare, but there are a couple in Omaha... very cool cars with a center mounted 351W EFI V-8 (incredible handling).

Must be a sci-fi vibe I'm picking up on lately... on the heels of the Star Trek plate, I bring you Star Wars ...

It has nothing to do with being smug. Â It's just a side effect of being better than everyone else.
I figured I'd take a pre-emptive strike at myself before Jeff could.
