Nebraska got a good PG signing for the 2013 class at least.  Imara Ready out of Arkansas committed yesterday.  He had an offer from A&M and will probably be getting an Arkansas offer soon.

NONCONFERENCE SCHEDULE
Nov. 7, Doane (exhibition), TBA
Nov. 11, South Dakota, TBA
Nov. 14, at USC, TBA
Nov. 20, Rhode Island, 1 p.m.
Nov. 23, Oregon, TBA
Nov. 26, South Dakota State, TBA
Nov. 30, Wake Forest, 8:15 p.m.
Dec. 4, at Creighton, TBA
Dec. 7, Florida Gulf Coast, TBA
Dec. 10, at TCU, TBA

It isn't as bad of a schedule as the past few Nebraska ones.  It will be fun to see Dana coaching in the Devaney one more time.

The schedule is definitely getting better.  Good to see Oregon coming out here to play NU again.  I was there at the one where we beat them in Omaha.  I assume we'll make a return trip next year.  Also rumors out there that the following year NU is bringing in another name school to play at Century Link in Omaha.

Team and final RPI last year.

South Dakota (317)
USC (67)
Rhode Island (101)
Oregon (135)
South Dakota St (183)
Wake Forest (260)
Creighton (123)
Florida Gulf Coast (282)
TCU (208)
Alcorn State (337)
Central Michigan (307)

11 games total
10 games vs 100+RPI
6 games vs 200+RPI
3 games vs 300+RPI

Average RPI = 211

Yeah, it's probably not quite as bad as the past few. But it is still ridiculously bad.

As long as keeps improving I'm good.  Definitely some games on there I'll go to Lincoln for.  Should be an interesting year with all of the changes.

Nebraska would of played at Duke and against Pitt in Madison Square Garden if they could of convinced Creighton and TCU to move their games according to the LJS.  Now that would of been a non conference schedule.

Two recruits for the 2012 class have committed.

Keith Coleman a 6'9" Juco guy.  Some consider him the best Juco player of the 2012 class.

Will Shields son Shavon also committed.  6"4" wing player.  He is supposed to be a really good defender.

I think it's open house for the press tonight at the Hendrick's Center.  From what I've seen so far looks awesome.

Seriously, that place looks like the rivals anywhere in the nation.  There aren't any more excuses to not improve the play on the court drastically with that facility and a new arena coming in 2 years.

USC isn't a top tier team right now, but at least Nebraska is going on the road for a decent challenge.  Unlike last season when they played like a dozen home games to start the season.

Double OT win for the Huskers.  64-61.  No matter how good USC is this year it is good to come away with a road win and stick it out to come away with it in OT.  Not a lot of points though for a 2 OT game

True. It's 1000% better than beating Maryland Eastern Shore etc at home.

I'll take a win on the road at a BCS school any day.  That being said, I bet that's the lowest scoring double OT game in D1 this season....

USC lost their 3rd straight game today. This time it was to to Cal Poly. Maybe it wasn't much better than beating Maryland Eastern Shore.

Pretty much a combination of good shooting/horrible defense enabled skers to score 83.  Spencer continues to impress me with 23 points.  As well Talley scored 15 and only played 18 minutes.

I think we have some trouble with Oregon but we ultimately beat them.  I am not feeling to good about the Creighton game though.

Tuff loss to Oregon last night.  The Ducks played the typical Dana Style of ball but that is to be expected.  here are a few photos.

Just got home from watching the Huskers loose by 2 to Wake Forest. They were a 10 to 12 point fav. Poor offense decisions and some really bad play in the last two min.  The Jays will have a hay day Sunday if the Huskers play like this in Sunday.

Going to be interesting to see what we look like in Conference play.  Could be a rough one.  Nice to see the NU women's team doing so well.

I'm all over that. Stayed away from the ridiculously low o/u though. I could easily see the game being 65-45 or 70-40 and it's 110.

10 pts in the first 5 mins? Sadler should have someone call in a bomb threat immediately.
