Darn near... The last 5 min of the game last night was crazy!

Creighton was up by 18, the the lead was cut to TWO with a min to go, then Some hard fouls, pushing and shoving, player ejected and Creighton ended up winning.

Creighton moves up to 19 and  18 in the polls. Big game at MSU on Wednesday, and at Northern Iowa an a few weeks. Otherwise CU is looking good. They also picked up a home and home with Cal, playing at Berkeley next season.

Creighton lucked out on that one... 66-65 with tons of turnovers and lousy shooting.

That's great!  Nice to see at least one team can play Div 1 Basketball in the state.  Hope they keep their head on straight and don't let the ranking get to them as other teams will be gunning for them.  Don't need an upset loss.  Be fun to see how far they can take it.

What is the highest they have been ranked in the past?

In 2002-2003 they started 15-1 and were ranked #9 in the ESPN poll and #10 in the AP poll.  That season they went on to finish 29-5.

I wonder if they realize that he just dropped 30 on them.  Whatever consoles them I suppose.

On another note Pink Out up next, it should be a great atmosphere.

-Creighton moves up to #12 in the Coaches Poll.
-Creighton now first in the MVC.
-Creighton now a projected 3 seed in the NCAA tournament (although still way too early to predict).

The "official" capacity is listed at 18,320 on the Clink website.  I think Creighton sold Standing Room Only tickets for several days leading up to the game.

Anyone have any idea how I can get about 4-5 tickets for Saturday's Creighton-Northern Iowa game in Cedar Falls, it has been sold out since last week at least.  Creighton is really attracting great crowds this year, both at home and on the road.

Last night's Stats were great!
1.  Huge Crowd (5th Sellout of the year, 9th Nationally in Attendance for the year)
2.  Six players in Double Figures
3.  22 Assists on 9 Turnovers
4.  They started the game 11-1 and the one missed shot was rebounded and put back up for a basket.
5.  Started out with a 17-2 lead in the first 5 min.  Hard to come back from that.
