Have fun.  One downfall of me shooting for Rivals... They will use AP photos of the tournament in St Louis.

I think it's going to be a blast! This is the first year WBR has sent a photog down - usually it's just the writers. With so many CU fans down there it's going to be fantastic!

McDermott was named MVC Player of the Year, Echenique was named Defensive MVP!

McDermott is the first sophomore in league history to win the award.

I am liking Lunardi's most recent bracket - CU vs Harvard winner playing Marquette. I have to wonder if CU beats WSU in the Tourney if they can muster up a 5 seed. Can't wait to see your pics Tuna!

Well it is Drake tomorrow night. They played well against Bradley, jumping out to an early lead.

BTW, anyone else following Altman's Ducks? They are a serious buble team this year after going 8 and 2? Two years ago.

If I remember correctly they had some sort of violation and part of their punishment was getting banned from playing conference games.

They said they sold 3000 full session tickets to Creighton and were expecting over 1000 students.

A CU WSU championship game would be the stage this conference deserves.

On that note WSU just annihilated ISU today.  CU just beat Drake.

Not a great game for Creighton, but once again they pulled it out.  McDermott: 26 points and 10 rebounds.  Creighton now plays tomorrow at 4 vs the winner of Missouri State and Evansville.

Creighton got their shooting touch back today.  They were 8-11 from 3pt range in the first half.  They went on to win easily 99-71.  On to tomorrow to play Illinois State, who we beat twice this season, but I am sure that it will be a tough game.

Finally and impressive win!

It may be better for the conference as a whole for Ill St. to win tomorrow throwing 3 Valley teams in March Madness, but this season for Creighton deserves a banner at CLCO.

Here's a link to a complete recap of Creighton's games from this past weekend, including video highlights, analysis and photo galleries.

http://whiteandbluereview.com/?p=17363

I can't even begin to explain how unbelievable those last 5min of overtime were during the championship game. When Josh Jones got the breakaway pass and just crushed the dunk, the Scottrade came absolutely unglued. Just insanity. Fast forward the clip below to 7:05 for that little gem.

Selection party is this Sunday at DJ Sokol Arena.

Been a pretty great calender year for Creighton athletics.

They hold men's and women's basketball titles, men's soccer title, and baseball.

They're not the only team that got the shaft though.

I can't believe they made Creighton (the host school for the first two rounds) play on Friday and Sunday, the same days that the games are being playing in Omaha.

They made their bed with the meltdown in early February, they can lay in it. It may be a good thing, though. I don't really trust Creighton not to look past a 12-15 seed.
