The Voice of Nebraska

Post by Coyote »

I grew up listening to Lyle Bremser and thought he was the Vin Scully of Nebraska. Now with Kugler leaving, who now picks up that voice?

I'm going to miss Kugler being on in the afternoons, I wish he was the voice of the huskers.

Greg Sharpe, the current voice of the Huskers, is better than his two predecessors...and frankly, I'm not sure he's not a little better than Kugler on play-by-play for football.  Don't get me wrong; I like Kevin Kugler a lot, and he's probably more versatile than Sharpe.  But for football, I think Sharpe might be a touch better.

I liked Kent Pavelka more than Sharpe.  The voice I cannot stand is Matt Davison's, get him off the radio.

Don't listen to the Sker's anymore.   But boy could Bremser send it.   We need someone like him.  He had great tag lines.  Since he left us all, there has been no one as good.
