NHL Exhibition in KC, Rangers and the Avs

This is the weekend before UNO and Notre Dame play at the Sprint Center in the Ice Breaker Tourney. Â I wish Omaha would host a NHL exhibition one of these years.

Why don't we ever get exhibition games? Â I remember the Bulls and Jordan coming to Lincoln in the 90s

Even the Minnesota Timberwolves played an exhibition game at the Qwest Center when it first opened. Â I agree we should get at least one NBA or NHL preseason game each year.

I see no reason why Century Link Center could not host an NHL exhibition....of course I'd want the St. Louis Blues to come and play!

Biggest problem is hick week. Â They can't install ice until after the dirt is removed from the rodeo...and typically by then, the NHL regular season is beginning. Â This year, it appears the NHL is starting a little later and there may have been an opening in there.
