The Omaha City Council voted unanimously to renew an agreement with the College World Series Inc. to keep the event at Rosenblatt Stadium through 2010.
The existing agreement between the two, signed in 2000, was set to expire this year.
The new agreement obligates the city to pay for stadium improvements estimated to cost $2.2 million and provide an annual budget of $50,000 for major maintenance and renovation projects.
