Also a lot of buzz being made about Josh Bandaras stealing bicycles in broad daylight! For his talent sake I hope they can smooth things over because if not he's gone.

Those two kids have to be pretty stupid to think that they could 'free' those bikes from their shackles and sell them, oh and doing that during broad daylight...guitarguy wrote:Also a lot of buzz being made about Josh Bandaras stealing bicycles in broad daylight! The Lincoln courts and cops are jokes when it comes to punishing Lincoln's source of tourism dollars.

I basically chaulked this up as a slap on the wrist anyways.. history has proven itself. Even Husker god himself.. Johnny Rodgers robbed a gas station and got some kind of stupid diversion sentence handed down.
Re: Nebraska Football 2013
That isn't really an abnormal punishment for anyone fortunate enough to have parents able to afford a decent attorney. It will be chalked up to LPD giving Husker football players an easy slide though.

Coach Frank Solich on Ballot for College Football Hall of Fame
No former Huskers make the 2023 ballot as players
Former Nebraska head coach Frank Solich is one of nine FBS coaches to earn a spot on the 2023 ballot for the College Football Hall of Fame released Monday. No former Huskers made the ballot as players, but former Nebraska offensive lineman Zach Wiegert will be enshrined later this year as part of the 2022 class.
Solich is on the ballot in his first season of eligibility after retiring as head coach at Ohio last summer. During his 22 seasons as a head coach, Solich compiled a record of 173-101, including 58-19 in six seasons at Nebraska from 1998 to 2003.
Solich led the Huskers to the 1999 Big 12 Conference championship and a final No. 3 ranking in the Associated Press poll. NU added a co-Big 12 North Division title in 2001, when the Huskers met Miami in the Rose Bowl for the national championship.
Solich arrived in Lincoln from Cleveland in 1962, Coach Bob Devaney's first season. He earned the nickname "Fearless Frankie" as an undersized fullback and became the first Husker to rush for 200 yards in a game.

Wyoming Cowboys Head Football Coach Craig Bohl To Retire After Bowl Game
University of Wyoming head football coach Craig Bohl announced his retirement on Wednesday. His final game will be at the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl on Dec. 30 in Tucson. Defensive Coordinator Jay Sawvel will take over as the new head coach
Bohl's 10-year tenure leading the Pokes is the longest of any head football coach in school history. The coach steps away from the program with numerous achievements during his career in Brown and Gold.
During his decade at the helm, the Cowboys enjoyed one of the most successful sustained periods of winning, including more bowl victories (three) and more bowl appearances (six) than any coach in school history. Six of Bohl’s 10 seasons ended with a winning record.
