Texas always gives me a laugh. It never really matters exactly how good Texas is or isn't going to be, they will always have first place votes. No shame...

The whole Big 12 is a joke.  Texas at 11 is stupid though, I missed that.  Add in Baylor too, their D is really really really bad.

So far this has been a great start to the season.. The Vanderbilt game last night was epic and NDSU pulling an upset on a team that was number 1 for most of the year last year is incredible! Here's to a beat down Husker style tomorrow night !!

Or how Texas still receives 26 votes after getting their @sses handed to them by a 1-1 BYU team.

Or how Miami lucks into beating Florida by obscene turnovers and an idiot QB at Florida giving them the game and go from unranked to #15 and have now been dubbed world beaters.. Notre Dame being ranked ahead of a lot of unbeaten teams is a slap in the face as well haha..

This next week is going to be epic.. if you can get tickets to the game this would be a good one to get out to.. Haven't had it in a while but I have a weird feeling that we might dominate UCLA due to the amount of gelling the team did last weekend and its the first time in 4 years that the defense looks as good as the offense!

Apparently their defensive coach was fired on the spot after the game because of this!

For not even being in Conference season yet Michigan sure is getting a lot of media lovin'.. also why is it a forgone conclusion that Ohio State is going undefeated? Braxton sprained his MCL on Sat.. the same thing that plagued Burkhead the whole year last year.

Yeah, I have no doubt Mack Brown is going for heads, because he knows many are calling for his.

On a different note, and I hope I'm wrong, but I think this week with UCLA, is going to be rough. Southern Miss has lost 14 straight, so we've got to be careful with using that game as any sort of measuring stick.

I agree this week is going to be tough and we will learn a lot.  At the same time no one will convince me that they have not held stuff back and they have spent time on this game the last couple of weeks rather then the "cupcake" they were scheduled to play.

The defense is a work in progress, no doubt. But I think you're right, the offense (well, both offenses) will have some fun Saturday.

I don't know if they could of pulled even with a one loss team, but Louisville finally got out of the BCS picture. And a great weekend to shoot down SEC hype. LSU, aTm, S Car, Georgia lose, I hope there are not 8 SEC teams in the polls next week.

Oh, and I kind of like rooting for Mizzou these days
