Yes, there's an "Omaha connection" in the story...

An effort by the Bosselman family to bring a professional soccer team to Grand Island didn’t quite pan out this fall.

Charlie Bosselman, owner of the Nebraska Danger Indoor Football League team and head of Bosselman Entertainment, wanted to add a soccer team to the schedule at the Heartland Events Center this fall.
The new soccer team would have been part of the Premier Soccer League. The regular season would have consisted of eight home matches and eight on the road. It would have started in November and been over shortly after the Danger season begins in February.
“Our biggest concern was our flexibility,” said Barry Sandstrom, who is chairman of the events center board. “Whether people know it or not, there are more and more things being booked in the events center and there are more and more returning events on an annual basis. Given that, along with some other considerations, we just respectfully declined to take on another tenant.”
Bosselman said the company may still put together a soccer team, but it has to have a place to play first. He said they have talked to the management of the Viaero Event Center in Kearney, and might even consider forming a team to play at the new Ralston Arena in Ralston, which is also home to the Omaha Beef football team.
