Finished with 29 on 9-11 shooting. Must not have gotten many touches in the second half. Thankfully the Bulls squeeked this one out 109-107.

I watched a good chunk of the second half and they just buried him in the corner and ran nothing for him. I really don't get how a guy shooting that well doesn't get something ran his way more often.

McBuckets has been on fire lately for sure. Nice to see..

As a side note- The Golden State Warriors are sitting at 60-6 right now. Fastest team to 60 wins in NBA history. How crazy is that? They've got 16 games left. Don't see them losing more than 2 more times- I think they'll end up 74-8.. Breaking the Bulls 72-10 best regular season record (in NBA history) back in the mid 90's..1996 I think...

No coincidence...when Doug plays well the Bulls win. Last night he finished with 15 pts and a career-high 9 rebs. He also tied a career-high with 3 assts. Bulls won and trail Indiana by one game for the 8th playoff spot in the east with 7 games to go.

Now they just need to get rid of Aaron Brooks as well. Those two were killing the ball movement in Chicago last season.

Bulls get Robin Lopez, so it looks like Gasol and most likely Noah are gone and they will rebuild around Butler.

Bulls get Dwayne Wade but there is a problem. Both Wade and McDermott have worn the #3 since college.

McDermott welcomes Wade by giving up the number!

Bulls win the Summer League Championship with Valentine's buzzer beater. Portis looks hot also... Will McD get more playing time this season?

Well the good news is Mike Dunleavy is gone, Rajon Rondo is a better passer than Derrick Rose and Aaron Brooks (the PG who never passes) is gone as well. I think McDermott should do well.

I hope you're right. Dwayne Wade will be there and he is known for needing the ball in his hands.

Did I hear correctly that at one point he made 15 straight of the Bull's points?

I think he had 20 or 22 in the second quarter alone, and yes, looking at the play-by-play, it does appear he had 15 straight and 17 of 19. That is very impressive.

Great story of Doug:

How to Play for My Dad
As it turns out, he was meeting that day with Bruce Rasmussen in Des Moines. That night I was over at a buddy’s house, having a good time with my friends. It was toward the end of my senior year and most of us already knew where we were going to college. It was a typical Friday night.

And then I got this call from my dad.

“I need you to come home.”

I was like, heck, no! I’m out with my friends. I thought I was in trouble or something.

But eventually, I relented because he sounded pretty serious. When I got home he was sitting on the couch and he told me, “I met with Bruce Rasmussen at Creighton. How would you feel about playing me two or three times a year?”

“If you’re going to be in the same conference,” I said, “I’d rather be playing for you.”

I had been hearing the Bulls might go fire sell and start from scratch, getting cap space, of course D'Wade won't stick around for this. He signed a two year deal, so that will be intriguing.

But the Thunder got a hug bargain out of this, giving Westbrook a Power Forward, and the second worst 3-pt backcourt a legitimate threat that helps in spacing. I think McBuckets will get a lot more playing time just because of that.

Russell Westbrook ball hog. LOL

Who knows though, maybe Westbrook can drive and dish to Doug if he feels like sharing on a particular night.
