The British guys on "Box Nation" says that Crawford should never go on the road, and that if they opened up 15,000 tickets, they'd sell 15,000 easily.

Very impressive drawing for the first big fight in Omaha in 42 years! If they bring it back to Omaha for his next fight I think it will sell out.

"I would say 90 percent of the people who came to the fight had never been to a prize fight. I think they'll all be back. That was so exciting."

Whether Crawford remains at lightweight -- not a very deep division for making a big fight -- or goes up to junior welterweight, which he said he might do, Arum said he plans to bring Crawford back to Omaha for his next fight. After that, he thinks a really big fight is in store for Crawford -- one against superstar and welterweight titleholder Manny Pacquiao.

By Allan Fox: HBO will be showing a replay of the clash between WBO lightweight champion Terence Crawford (24-0, 17 KO’s) and challenger Yuriorkis Gamboa (23-1, 17 KO’s) this Sunday at 8:45 am ET/PT. Crawford gave an impressive performance in knocking out 2004 Olympic gold medalist Gamboa in a fight that could wind up being the Fight of the Year.

Boxing is ruled by the promoters. In this case it was Bob Arum and HBO. Crawford was given a little lea way in keeping this in Omaha and the CLink and not one of CB's casinos. I think Omaha proved worthy of another title defense for Crawford, but if he moves up from lightweight (135) to welterweight (147) to get a shot at Pacquiao and a big paycheck you can guarantee that will be in Vegas. Otherwise he could just fight lightweight contenders for small payouts in Omaha, but I only see that happening for one more match in Omaha before Arum takes over.

I watched on TV last night. A lot more than I expected. HBO definitely indicated they'd be back.

Very positive reviews nationally on twitter about the crowd.

Apparently the arena was configured for 9000 and that was what they were planning on. The extra 2000 in attendance was extra demand.

If he were to fight here again I am sure that number would swell.

Yea after getting just short of 12k Saturday, I imagine more for the next one. Everyone that I've talked to that attended had a blast. Word of mouth for this thing is sky high.

I subscribe to HBO so do not pay real close attention and do not know the exact time of day. The Free Preview is listed as ending today and it usually goes through Monday night ( at least on Dish) so you might still be able to catch a repeat if you have access to HBO service

I have COX so I am not sure if we still have the free preview. I will have to check when I get home.
