2014 UNO Baseball

Now that they are playing up you would think that this would be more of a priority than in the past, including in their recruiting. I have a cousin who is a graduating pitcher from Millard West that is going to play for them. I want better seats...

Lol, lots of fans us the "Bring your own seat" method at boystown...

Also, if you start going, don't park to close. Seen a lot of cars get hit out there.

UNO baseball is 20-13 including wins over KSt and Creighton. A shame they still can't go to the postseason still b/c they are probably the best team in the Summit.

Great story about UNO Baseball and their facilities...

Lol...
Tom Shatel / World-Herald columnist wrote: Part of Herold wishes it were at Boys Town.

“Werner Park is a great facility, but I don't think it adds much for us,” Herold said. “It's not a home-field advantage. The teams we play there have stadiums. We don't. When we play them there, it's a disadvantage.

“If those guys would come play us at Boys Town, it would be a big advantage for us. See the deer jumping the fence and the geese landing on the field.”

Mavs sweep W Ill., and have now won seven straight, finishing the year with a record of 31-20, and 15-9 in Summit League play. They are now Back to Back Summit Conference Champions but still have to wait another year (the 2015-2016 season) to qualify for post season play, and a berth in the NCAA Championships.
