Their top couple players can hang with a lot of teams, but their depth will always be an issue for a small program.

UNO would also look better and deeper when Jake White gets healthy.

I am really proud of UNO's program for taking on the big dogs. Yes they may be playing them in off years, but their willingness to play big programs will put them on the map and will be a strong recruiting tool.

Like Coach Kemp said when he took the hockey team straight into the CCHA, they could be 80% win/loss against also ran teams, or they could jump to the CCHA and have bad years. But they would be measured against the best.

Go Mavs!

One of the downfalls in beating the likes if Marquette and Nevada, and playing tight against other big programs, UNO is having trouble scheduling a home game to open their new crib next year...

Nebraska should play UNO every year (they have not committed to it on an annual basis), as should Creighton (they are not doing any games against UNO yet). Getting either of those two to play at UNO is probably not going to happen anytime soon.

UNO lost at Chicago St last night 66-69. Chicago St had lost 9 of their last 10 prior to this game. On a bright note, UNO is 5-0 at home this season.
