Unfortunately the chasers were eliminated tonight, ending a great run over the past several years. Too bad the MiLB doesn't have a wild card...

Heck there is a real chance they have their best record since 2012 this year too. OKC just had an incredible season this year.

Such a fantastic place to watch a game. Going back Thursday and Friday. Did you see the new area they are putting in next to the Down Draught? I just noticed the coming soon sign on Sunday (it does have a pic with it)

Sorry, should have included that. For 2016, a Party Patio. Real nice are next to (almost a large extension) of the Down Draught area. Looks good with tables and seating, and very well landscaped. Love the outfield area at Werner and they are building on that.

Winners of back-to-back Triple-A championships in 2013 and 2014, the Storm Chasers have at last been dethroned, though not for lack of trying. Their 80-64 regular season record this year is better than the record they posted in either championship season, but because of fierce competition in the PCL’s American Conference, they failed to make the playoffs.

Nonetheless, Storm Chasers fans have plenty to feel good about. Their city enjoys the fourth lowest unemployment rate of any MiLB town, at just 2.9% (as of June 2015).

My only fear is they change their name to the Royals. Huge Royals fan here but I've grown to like having our own identity.

I agree with you on the name. Wasn't sure when they first came out with it but really like it and would hate to see it change.

Big Royals fan here too. Was at the Saturday game for the ALCS when they came back in the seventh and beat the Blue Jays. I have to say that was the loudest I have ever experienced in an open ended stadium. (meaning non bowl or enclosed) It was crazy.

It would also work if they are just updating the jerseys. I think it was on Mavpuck someone said they are just updating the Chasers jerseys to more resemble KC's.

Very cool, fantastic seats. We were at the game 5 clincher against Houston (4th row upper deck, way down near right field, where the Mets fans sat in the WS). Last year was in upper deck between 3rd and home for the wild card game. I agree on the crowd. The volume, along with the stadium vibrating/shaking was more like a football crowd. Crazy fun. Unbelievable experience that I feel very lucky to have been a part of. Can't stop smiling today.

Possible but they are no more far off than others in their minor system. Here is what is on display at the stadium in KC

The latest email I got from them said, "Celebrate As We Re-Dedicate Omaha Baseball To The 2015 World Series Champions."

Due to the large response this event has been moved to Ralston Arena.

It was a good event. KC's Director of Minor League Development was there and gave a speech. Omaha and KC continue the longest affiliation in baseball. They've been together for their entire existence. It was great news.

I'm glad they kept the Chasers name. I'm not a fan of the Black jerseys but they seemed real popular with the kids there. I love that they are adding the powder blue like KC. Both the jerseys and hats are fantastic.
