At this point, what do you think is the most likely Big Ten Championship matchup?

Nebraska-Michigan
Nebraska-Ohio State
Wisconsin-Michigan
Wisconsin-Ohio State

Hard to say right now.

Its likely the winner of Nebraska/Wisconsin vs the winner of OSU/Michigan.

Agreeable. We should know in just a few weeks time. If I had to predict I'd say Nebraska vs OSU. That matchup could be very interesting given they would have already played each other.

If NU can string together 2 more wins, we could be in for a battle of 2 Big 10 teams ranked in the top 8 when the Cornhuskers visit Camp Randall...

I'll actually be impressed if they get out of Bloomington with a win.

This is an Indiana team that lost to Wake Forest and was down in the 4th quarter to Florida School for the Blind, Deaf, and Infirm. If Ohio State wasn't sleepwalking, that game wouldn't have even been close.

So now the Huskers will be ranked at least 9. Depending on if OSU beats Wisconsin in decided fashion, the Skers could be 8.

By the time Nebraska meets Wisconsin, everyone should be healthy and able to put their best efforts toward beating the Badgers! That could be a historic game for the Huskers provided they compete this time around.

That was a nail biter. A little too close for comfort. But nonetheless, I'm glad Nebraska came out with a win.

Meanwhile, Northwestern handed Michigan State its 4th loss of the season. They won 54-40. So Michigan State's Big Ten title hopes are officially gone now. All they can do now is hope to get to a bowl game.

Agreed. I think the Huskers will probably be sitting at 8 in both polls. Take care of Purdue next Saturday, then on to Camp Randall. Keep the egg dripping off the faces of the doubters...

Nebraska's offensive line was less than impressive especially with both Carter and Westerkamp out, Bad Tommy showed up, looking rusty after a bye week. But it was a big road win, beating the -3.5 odds. Listening to the webcast, and many Nebraskans in the crowd, I couldn't tell if it was a good play for them or for us.

Wisconsin is looking good after their bye week... Iowa looked impressive... I am glad we already played Northwestern ... It is hard to tell if we will go 10-1 or 8-3, but it should be a fun ride, hold on to your hats boys.

The Wisconsin-OSU game couldn't have gone better for the Huskers! Here's to hoping OSU wins out, Wisconsin only loses to Nebraska, and Nebraska wins out or only loses to OSU. The picture is getting clearer and clearer!

6-6 is still a possibility, too.

Good to see Michigan move up to 3. Totally deserved. But I disagree with Baylor surpassing Nebraska or Wisconsin.

Not a very good first half today. The second half was better, especially the 4th quarter. Nebraska can't afford to be a 4th quarter team for the next 2 weeks or they're going to have the hammer dropped on them big time.

Ohio State's loss to Penn State hurts the Huskers some. Nebraska now cannot afford a loss to Ohio State in the regular season. Still, should Nebraska win out, and win the Big 10 against Michigan or Ohio State, they will be in. They just cant have a hiccup now.

If Nebraska goes 1-1 these next 2 games, I'll be a pretty happy camper..

2-0 I'd be ecstatic..

0-2? I'll avoid climbing stairs in a tall building and looking down, lol..

My gut tells me 1-1 is the likely scenario...

Meanwhile, Maryland handed Michigan State its 5th loss of the season. Boy, what is it with the Spartans this year? It's not like them to lose 5 in a row. Mark Dantonio's teams aren't usually this bad.

That sure was quite something last night Penn State upsetting Ohio State. I don't think anybody saw that coming.

I wouldn't underestimate Wisconsin. They've shown they have the ability to adapt, adjust and still dominate on defense this season.

I just hope this game doesn't end up with some big humiliating blowout like under Bo Pelini. And hopefully, the turnover bug doesn't bite us. I still remember the Michigan State/Nebraska game in 2013. Before the game, the media was going on and on about how tough MSU's defense was. I was not expecting 5 turnovers. Hopefully, we can avoid something like that.

For whatever reason ESPN gives Wisconsin a 70% chance of winning when you look at their match-up page. On the same page you will find that Nebraska's stats vs Wisconsin's stats are a wash.

Nebraska's offense is a good bit better statistically than Wisconsin's offense.

Wisconsin's defense is marginally better statistically than Nebraska's defense.

I can only chock it up to Wisconsin beating LSU (not that good) and MSU (looking worse than Nebraska last year)

I expect this game to be a historic one. Relatively low scoring. Wisconsin should hold Nebraska to less than 24, probably under that. In typical fashion, I think Nebraska will be down a score very late. Nebraska 21-20
