Creighton goes deep - and back into first place

After losing the first two games CU goes deep in game 3.
Over 12,000 tickets already sold for CU vs NU III.

Jeff,
Do you have GA or box tickets? Bringing your camera? I may be there also.

Actually a friend of mine (his son is on my son's baseball team) bought the tickets... they are reserved, not box... 'under the roof' on the 3rd base side is all I know. I'll be sure to bring my camera. :)

Cool - CU side - if this is their home game. I was on third base side last CU-NU game at the Blatt. Perfect GA seats - better view I think - I got there plenty early with my father - a fellow CU grad and CU Law School grad. Out numbered 4-1 but not out applauded. Wave if you see me!

I can't wait. I heard aparently that Jim Rose was saying some negative comment about Creighton saying that if they were in the Big XII they would have no shot at competing with even the bad teams. Ed is aparently pretty upset about it, so the Jays have a little motivation for tomarrow. I sadly can't go, but will it be on TV (NETV)?

With today's come from behind 7-5 win over Evansville, the Jays are now guaranteed no worse than a share of the MVC championship. Even the 1991 CWS team was not able to claim the title of conference champions, but this team brings the banner home for the first time. :)

If we do tie WSU, they would get the #1 seed in the tournament, but with a win Sunday (or a WSU loss), all doubts are put aside and we claim it all for ourselves. The game's at 1pm on 1420 AM.
