Which Nebraska would you be referring to?

LOL... Yum means basketball, although football might be a single digit win this year as well.

As much as one would like to think that this means UNO is ready for D1, all it really means is Collier is almost definitely going to be gone after this season.

If UNO doesn't shoot around 42% from the line, they win this game.

One shouldn't be too quick to make many judgments from exhibition games--I know I have seen Creighton have issues with UNO in the preseason enough times, only to have us hit the ground running to start the year--but 20 turnovers against any team is absolutely awful. I listened to the game last night, and the NU announcers said the team was completely gassed by the latter part of the second half. That's a bad sign too.

NU ought to improve, but the "new look" Huskers didn't turn any heads last ngiht.

In previous years, the Creighton/UNO game has always been close; UNO has almost won several times. Perhaps this means Collier is ready to take the Huskers to the Big Dance...

Hmmmm, interesting observation. Let's see which happens first....

1) Collier takes NU to the Big Dance;
2) Callahan takes NU to a BCS bowl;
3) heck freezes over.

I know where my vote lies.....

I'm going with #2 since after last year's 5-6 campaign, heck obviously has already frozen over! :lol:

I disagree, the main reason why CU and UNO played so close is because of Kevin McKenna. The, at the time, former bluejay assistant played basically a mirror immage of the Jays. He and Dana shared the same philosophy, goals, and ideas in general about the game. Since they both thought alike, their teams played alike. Now I'm not trying to diss NU for playing them close. But I am just giving my reasoning for CU playing UNO so close.

Prediction: NU-Solid NIT bid with a good 3 or so wins in the tourney.
