CU falls to Indiana 0-1 and ends their season tying, i believe, the record for most College Cup appearances w/o a title. Nonetheless, it has been a great year and next year looks to be an even better season.  Bolowich is great to have.

Gonna have to get down to watch some Creighton games now that I'm back.. I attended at least 5 games the year when they barely lost the National Championship game and had an absolute blast..

Thats pretty impressive that so many people come out now.. There couldn't have been more than 500 people at the Tranquility Park games a few years back..

They've got a long ways to go yet. There was a period from just after our first goal (early on in the first half) to our second goal (some ways into the second half) where they looked absolutely atrocious. When this team is on, they're VERY VERY good...but they need to be more consistent.

Like many College Sports you don't get the highest quality of play vs actual pro sports but I'll be honest and say that these highlights.. which apparently are a good example of when they're kicking A$$ look to pass the smell test of Creighton being a very good soccer team.. which does have a very long way to go but looks the part of a Championship team.. :;):

The highlights are good yes, but from being at the game...they took a deep snooze for a large chunk of time that, if they do it against a good team, will come back to bite them easily. They did it a bit during Cal Poly, but not to this extent. Hope it isn't a trend forming.

We'll see how the season progresses, it's early. With Coach Elmar anything is possible I suppose.

Wasn't this Columbia's first game of the season (read fresh legs) and Creighton's third in (how many) days (read tired legs)... so they may have looked a little worn?

I suppose? But If they're having problems with games 5-6 days apart, then it's going to be a long September for them, especially at the end of the month...and again in Mid October when they play 3 games over the course of like 7 days.

And GuitarGuy: The game with St. John's on September 21st could be a good matchup. Unfortunately a lot of their great games seem to be on the road this year (like Georgetown) :(.

Creighton ties Michigan state 2-2 after of course 2OT. Creighton looked tired as can be expected, and the refs were paid off by Jim Delaney.

At the game last night it seemed the student section wasn't near as brutal as usual. The heckling of the Michigan State goalie was definitely not up to par. And the refs were definitely letting them scrap it out in the field. Though, this little encounter in the second half did garner a yellow card for M. State.

Not a problem. I go to all the games, so I figured I'll just go ahead and post.

They looked really, really good tonight. Even with the odd wind and the chilly conditions. I was happy to see a bounce back after the funk they've been in.

Creighton blows so many scoring chances... and then has Coach Son Goalie punts one when he should have just controlled it which lands right to Nova and Creighton loses with 30 seconds left in 1st OT.

Very very poor year for the Jays. Hopefully it's just the youth.
