Was that smiling Steve I spotted on the sideline when TO was being carried off of the field?

congratulation Kansas for setting the scoring record against Nebraska!!! But also shame on you! For not running up the score anymore after they went for the two point convention. They deserved at least one more score against them. 83 would have looked much better?

It was a good start... but I'm not sure even 76 pts makes up for the decades of humiliation which Kansas suffered at the hands of NU year in and year out.  Perhaps Big E can run those decade by decade numbers as well.

Well, if you look at the 36 game win streak from 1969 to 2004, you'll find that NU outscored Kansas 1591 to 289.  Yes, by 1302 points, including:

422-60 in the 70s

539-67 in the 80s

419-103 in the 90s

Stop being such a child fanboy, MTO.  Even DTO wouldn't brag about those numbers.

It's great to see the blackskirts get what they have had coming to them.  It's great to see what goes around comes around... I agree with MTO, 84 points or a century club would have made my year!  Welcome to a true level of mediocrity Husker fans - your team is a non-event now.

I am tired, and if I say what I want to say, I know I'll get censored. But the point is, I think you know what you can go to do yourself.

I'm kind of curious to hear how the Blackshirts had this coming to them...?

Maybe it's payback for all the years that they ran down the score on the opposition? I'm curious too.

Jason Peter just blew up a whole segment on the Jim Rome show and he is carry him over past the hour mark.
I never knew that after his younger brother Damian was paralyzed in a diving accident that Lou Holtz who recruited him to ND never once called them.

JP just blew up another 25 minute segment no commercials. I can't remember the last time someone on Rome was given so much air time. Great message. Now I am way behind - and Earnhardt is coming up next.

New Pelini contract worth $1.851 million annually

BRIAN CHRISTOPHERSON / Lincoln Journal Star wrote:Pelini was previously making $1.1 million a year, which ranked 11th among Big 12 coaches. His pay bump now makes him the sixth-highest paid coach in the conference, close in company to the annual salaries of Missouri’s Gary Pinkel and Kansas State’s Bill Snyder.

They "parted ways," according to ESPN:
