TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- Oregon coach Dana Altman is concerned about safety at Arizona State's Wells Fargo Arena after two of his staffers claim an ASU student spit at them at halftime of Saturday's night's game.
Oregon assistant coach Brian Fish told The Oregonian the student spit at him and trainer Clay Jamieson and reported the incident to arena security, but did not want charges pressed.
The incident was addressed and the student had his season tickets revoked, according to an Arizona State official.
Altman said after the Ducks' 74-72 loss it was not a good situation having visiting teams go past the student section on their way off the court at Wells Fargo Arena.
Ducks guard Jason Calliste had a verbal confrontation with at least one student late in the first half.

Re: McDermott to Creighton, Altman to Oregon
Speaking of which... what the heck happened to Oregon?? I guess I took my eye off of them for a while. Last I saw, they were ranked nearly in top 10... now they're sinking to bottom of the conference... the 'Ohio State' of the PAC 12 it would seem.

He was not going to get this accomplished at ISU. Hope they take advantage, as it will get tougher starting this fall!

I would expect that with all the attention, they'll begin picking up Big East worthy recruits.

I saw this article this morning
Manute Bol's 5-Star Center Son Bol Bol Commits to Oregon over Kentucky
Bol Bol, a 5-star center and the son of former NBA big man Manute Bol, committed to play his college ball for the Oregon Ducks on Monday.
The No. 3-ranked player in the class of 2018,...
Bol's commitment gives the Ducks the top recruiting class in all of college basketball, matching the football program, as Andrew Nemec of the Oregonian noted.
A towering presence at 7'2", Bol solidified himself as the No. 1 center among 2018 recruits thanks to a surprisingly versatile skill set that allowed him to expand his game beyond the paint.

Dana Altman’s Oregon team beat two Top 5 teams on the road this week. UCLA #3 and USC #5. Altman also reached 700 wins after the first win against UCLA.
