Have it on good authority that the Game and Parks commission is going to build a canoe lauch at Platte River SP with recovery at Louisville Lakes rec area. Â Also told that this would be connected into the existing Platte and Elkhorn river canoe trails. Â Beginner canoe and Kayaking next summer at Platte River SP. Â
Have also heard that they will use a beach along Salt Creek to launch canoes to allow for intermediate skill runs. Â
Lastly, I heard a rumor that a 250 yd centerfire rifle range is planned for Two Rivers SP. Â
