North Twin Tower-Mutual

Mutual recently closed on purchasing the North Tower.  This is the same one that was slated for redevelopment by Nelson Companies in Des Moines.  They are going to tear it down because it is blocking the view of downtown from MTC residents.

Trenton mention they purchased it on Grow Omaha the other day.  He said he wasn't sure if they were going to tear it down or remodel.

That's a terrible reason to tear down a building.

Always a good business model to aquire surrounding properties to an otherwise successful, 90% filled mixed-use property and tear it down so the current, rent-paying customers are more satisfied.

In other words, don't believe this |expletive|. If they're going to tear it down, they've got plans for it, whether its a parking lot or not..

That would be highly disappointing.  That building renovated overlooking the park could be some highly priced apartments.
