Indian oven to become... The Oven. Lincoln Indian concept

Ramen noodle concept coming to omaha. Head chef to be one of Blue sushi best chefs.

That should be enough to get something going.

I have seen a dumpster outside of the Indian Oven this past week. I still wish that there would be some action in the P.E. Iler building at 1113 Howard. The ground floor has sat vacant for quite a few years. According to their website it states that the main floor is/was supposed to be occupied by Prochaska & associates architectural firm.

You better believe they need some new material around here. I think a lot of us get the feeling that if were not talking up a food truck then they don't want to hear it.

Also looks like dante is pulling out bocce court to make room for more seating.

Do you even read the topics or do you just troll? Food trucks aren't mentioned that much compared to all the others posts.

Its not like this forum is the OWH, Reader, or any other Media Outlet, this forum is 100% User driven. Coyote likes Food Trucks so he posts a lot about Food Trucks. If there is someone that likes High End Restaurants, the forum is totally open to them posting about those restaurants. Its a lot more constructive on a forum to post about what you enjoy instead of ripping on people for what they enjoy. You don't like food trucks, so what, that doesn't mean that Coyote or anyone else is going to stop posting about them.

If people worked half as hard promoting thing they likes instead of bitching about stuff they don't like, the world would be a lot better place.

I can second the Indian Oven rumor.

I liked indian oven used to be great I will miss their happy hour.

And user driven info or old news or not it was all more than had been talked about here.
Trying to liven a section with user intel is exactly what was needed.

Meaning the Intel was lacking.

I heard that the fellow from Lincoln is the investor with a chef from when the food was good heading up the kitchen. I will try to get some more info.

OWH is reporting the Little Espana is taking over the old Taste location in Rockbrook, but with its own menu!

Anyone know anything more on downtown movement. Hearing big changes coming.

Also voodoo taco just filed for a 4th! Location.

Just walked by the old Indian Oven space today and noticed signs in the window saying Himalaya's Indian and Bhutanese Cuisine is opening soon.

Hmmm.... Bhutanese.... I'll have to try that when I'm back.

Where is the 4th Voodoo Taco going in?

Voodoo taco was about to sign the 4 th lease in Lincoln where the old jack and June was but looks as though it has fallen through and they are now looking for #4 in Papio or lavista.

J's on Jackson May be transitioning to new ownership.....and a new concept. The new ownership thing is all I have heard for now.

The J's in Norfolk has closed and a new restaurant will replace it soon

As in moving locations from SAddle Creek

Yes it looks like now modern love will move locations to dundee unless they can justify two locations.
Beer and loathing is going to be a new concept by a local you all know and love. The building will be overhauled and some new fun added to it. Great things for dundee.
