4 new Blackstone developments
I have heard that there are 4 buildings on Farnam street between 40th and 38th that are going to all be renovated at the same time starting in Novemember! 2nd floor restaurant space (think similar to Marks set up) and more retail on the south side of the street. Also hear the Colonial Hotel is being converted to 40 apartments in a historic tax credit deal set to begin early 2016!

Thanks for that info Blackstone fan. There are not too many places within those boundaries left after the Bank takes over the SE corner...
Re: 4 new Blackstone developments
Two of them could include the Brite Ideas building and the building next to Brothers that has been long mentioned as a rehab candidate.
Maybe those strange one story office buildings get a new facade and go retail?

I think it is the old daycare across from Scriptown, the little commercial building once owned by the Benson brewery guy and the old central distributing building next to Brothers and the new construction project

I bet that Little Lambs Daycare & Preschool got/(will get) a nice relocation package for that property!
Re: 4 new Blackstone developments
I am still shocked how quickly this area has been turned around

More established neighborhood and rehabbing older buildings, it's understandable.Garrett wrote:Faster than North Downtown, that's for sure.

No joke. It's going to be an meatball shop run by a tiny dwarf that plays in a band with Conor Oberst.
