Sempeck's Bowling

This may be nothing or it may fit in one of a couple of threads but until then I will put this here to possible move later.

I have followed the Sempeck's Bowling and Entertainment Facebook page for a long time. Since the complex in Elkhorn became the Mark the page has been dormant and Never really noticed. Late yesterday afternoon they posted a tease that said " ????? ;) with an image that said WE'RE BACK BABY

They also seem to have deleted the web site that must have been on this page as well as update a general address.

The new address takes you to a location near Oakview when you map it.

Guessing that maybe
1) they are getting involved with or taking over the V by Oakview.
2) they are getting back in with The Mark in Elkhorn in some manor.
3) they are starting something new
4) someone is having some fun with a dormant Facebook page.

Anyone know anything specific?

Re: 204th & Cumberland development
Anyone know what type of indoor sports facility is going to be built across the street from The MARK?

Now I remember that post. Did a search after your first mention and didn't find anything so thanks for the link. Also didn't click when I sway this on FB. Probably it.

The bowling alley, located near Oak View Mall, sent customers an email Wednesday morning announcing the closure.

This is a bummer. Really liked that location.

I thought that Sempeck still owned the Mark in Elkhorn, just under the new name.

Not sure, but may be someone can fill in the blanks on this.

December 2018, "Kelger Bowling LLC" sold to "Kingpin Properties LLC", 20902 Cumberland Drive, $4,000,000.
"KINGPIN PROPERTIES, LLC" lists an address of 14747 California St #1, Omaha, NE
14747 California St #1 is also the address of "Kuehl Capital Corporation"

I thought Kuehl financed and managed SID's, so not sure why they would own a bowling ally?

I'll have to look at who the now closed building is owned by. I certainly can't see that the family is hurting for money.

That aside, the "norm" of shitty business practices seems to be the model Sempeck used. I hope his employees knew before they showed up to work, only to see a sign on the door.

Pretty sure they sold out to complete with no ownership at all any more there.

I went back the thunder alley thread and there are posts there from May of 2014 that say that the Sempeck family no longer hand anything to do with that location.
