Doozy's to Dundee

Post by Guest »

There will soon be a Doozy's sandwich shop opening up in Dundee near the Underwood Bar and Mark's.  I believe the location is currently / formerly a laundromat.  Doozy's is well known in Lincoln and this is the first attempt at a Omaha store.

Yeah there is one on 16th, but I think it is only open for lunch.

A Dundee location is definitely exciting news.  Hope this rumor becomes fact!!

I believe, but am not positive, that the laundry mat is across the street from the mentioned business.

Well, if I understand it correctly, the space for Doozy's would be in the current laundromat location...the bussiness across the street that you might be thinking of is a Dry Cleaners, and I don't think they are going anywhere...

The laundromat has had a "for sale" sign up for a while...

Speaking to the owner of Doozy's on 16th St, the Dundee location purchase has fallen through due to cost of renovation. However, There is a sold sign in the window of the building in question, so SOMEONE bought the property. It just won't be a Doozy's.

The owner of Doozy's also said he expected to open a West Omaha location at some point in time.
