Mark's a friend of mine from Lincoln's Prairie Astronomy Club.

He's flying that drone everywhere (and that music seems to follow him)... here's one he took from the site of Nebraska Star Party, caught glimpse of my big scope.

Shoot for the Moon... if you miss, you'll land among the stars.

This is the neighborhood I grew up in! For those who have not been this area has the best urban bike trails in the state, easily. Thanks for posting this.

Put the Beds to Bed at Sunken Gardens

The Lincoln Parks and Recreation Public Garden Section created the event to involve residents in the joy of gardening at Sunken Gardens.

The Sunken Gardens are awesome. Lived near there (corner of 17th and B) while in college. I need to go see them again in the spring.

Lincoln has absolutely great parks. Pioneers Park is flat out awesome.

When I lived in Blair, a few years ago, we based Black Elk Neihardt Park Blair, Dana College on the Sunken Gardens in Lincoln, but then I left 20 years ago…
