The LJS says the 'redevelopment' of 48th & O Street will include a Runza, Walgreens and West Gate Bank.

Mayor Seng is "thrilled" with the ONLY SUBMITTED PROPOSAL for the south side of OStreet. But she is right that its better than an empty grass-filled lot. Contruction won't start for at least a year or two.

On the brighter side, O Street will become 6lanes all the way down to 46th street. This will take two years for 6 blocks, four of which (52nd to 48th) should've been done in the first place. Contruction on this begins next year.

This development needs to go up FAST. This area is blighted and looks sooooo bad, and the worst part is that its in a heavily viewed part of town, which makes the whole city of Lincoln look bad.
