Omaha Stations

Is it just me or are there some Lincoln residents who prefer to watch the Omaha stations? I'm not sure why that is.
When I was attending college at UNL in the early 80's, it was common, from my observation, that most in Lincoln watched the Omaha TV stations.. Truth be told, I had to look up the name and viola- I sure remember that guy. Not the stock market, but the stock market... How many cows, pigs, where done in Omaha, Sioux City, Chicago...
I would follow them like sports scores, always rooting for Omaha over Chicago.
My how times of Omaha's identity has changed from an ag city...
