Five Story Retail and Apartment Building Planned for Tastee Inn Site
Schafer Richardson Inc. of Minneapolis and Lincoln-based Greenleaf Properties plan a five-story building with retail on the first floor and four stories of residential units above with 98 apartments, including studio and one- and two-bedroom units.
The project and its associated parking stalls and garages would take up the entire block between 48th and 49th streets and Holdrege Street and Aylesworth Avenue, including the sites of the former Murphy’s QP Hardware store to the north of the old Tastee Inn and a former gas station and car wash to the south.
