The Downtown Lincoln Association, City Urban Development Department and the City-County Planning Department are sponsoring a public forum on the development of downtown Lincoln this Wednesday. The forum will be held at the Cornhusker Conference Center, 333 S. 13th St, at 5:30pm.
In attendance will be downtown master plan consultants George Crandall and Don Arambula. They will be talking about the draft report and how it will be incorporated along with standards for urban design.

it is ashame that the city leaders of the two biggest cities in Nebraska (over one million people combined) think that it is important to improve the city ( and therefore the state) but the idiots in the state govt can't or won't pass any really progressive bills to do this kind of face lift for the state (or even help those who want to do it themselves) I think that I am starting to really dislike the state lawmakers.
