This expansion is massive.  Already towering above the current stadium.

I think they should spend a few million more to throw up a cantilevered roof like Washington used to have... help project that noise to the turf.
Just saw this post, anybody else see Washington pretty much tore down their entire stadium and started from scratch.

Those are such amazing pictures! You can really get a good grasp on how exactly tall the new structure is!

Can't wait to see the finished product.  Looked very cool.  Will hold more of the sound in there.

While not as clear as Collin's picture (didn't notice the bar in the way).  But here's a view from the 6th level suite North of the Press Box.  I can say this is going to be massive!  I can only image how those outdoor seat patrons are going to feel up there.  From the Westside even with the ability to step inside the acrophobia raged.

(Couldn't figure out how to resize so you'll have to deal)

Just checked out east stadium today and much of the brickwork is up on the east side stadium project.  This thing is really going to look sharp.  Just the contrast of the brick they used (darker rich red) and the sandstone just looks great.  South half of brickwork is done and now working on north half.  There is also one of the N's on the north end installed to get some husker fans excited.  Really can see it from a great distance away.  looking forward to seeing the type of glass they use for the project.  Hope it's a nice clear glass much like Osborne Complex north end.  I'm sure it is.  Now the only part of the stadium that looks out of place is the south stadium.  But that just was remodeled 2 years ago so I don't see that changing for years... unless a big donation shows up.  I'll post pictures next week of some close ups.

Looks like this will get enclosed before Christmas.  Pretty exciting stuff.

Thanks for the update.  I am glad they broke it up a bit with the dark brick as opposed to the west side.

I was blown away at the magnitude of the East Stadium yesterday. This camera pic can't do any of it justice, but on the far right you can see where the flag used to be on top of the old East Stadium for comparison. A friend got season tickets way up there and showed us some of the pics of her view which wasn't too bad.

BTW - are the columns between the track and the stadium from the old Station we were talking about?

Yeah, that red one got up really close a few times. They never slowed down much for photo ops, from what I saw, but who knows. I haven't watched (probably won't) the BTN coverage of the game, maybe it was one of theirs?

If you mean the loud speakers... No. Now they were annoying at times, at the beginning of certain plays... But were not nearly annoying as 10 years ago when they 'discovered' their Husker Vision powers

I wish.  I haven't ever flown over it with people in there... Same with Werner Park.  I have plenty of shots with both of them empty.
