More exhibitors getting on board for 2005 fair.

More Commercial Exhibitors Enter Nebraska State Fair
OmahaChannel.com wrote: LINCOLN, Neb. -- Commercial exhibitors appear more interested in showing off their wares at the Nebraska State Fair this year.

A total of 545 exhibitors already are booked. Space rental manager Tracie Simpson said that's 32 more than a year ago. She said 192 are new to the Nebraska fair.

Fair officials are hoping to build on last year's 10 percent increase in attendance. The fair is in the midst of a border-to-border advertising campaign, which is largely funded by the $2 million in Nebraska Lottery proceeds now earmarked for the fair.

The fair runs Aug. 27 to Sept. 5.

Something new which will probably draw quite a few hunter/fishing types...
