This seems like it will be pretty big:

*360 acres of land
*more than 600,000 square feet of retail and office space
*1,000 homes
*450 apartments

Also, the retail space is expected not to be occupied by any big box retailers because of the close proximity of this development to the 87th and Highway 2 Wal-Mart and Menards.

Leapfrog!!!

Its actually not much of a leapfrog at all. There's a lot of acreage development in that area so its about as close as one can get. If you check out Google Maps' hybrid view it's a better perspective than mapquest. Despite it being a bit outdated (the "mall" at 91st and Hwy2 is merely being graded) it shows the state of development a couple years ago. Considering how things have grown in that time its not a stretch. In fact, I thought Cheney was up for an annexation bid a couple years ago but was put off due to a water main and sewage issue between the areas.
