Went to the Eagles Concert in Lincoln Friday night.  Jumped on getting tickets right away but they sold quick and We didn't pay for the $200 ones so ended up in the Upper Bowl. We were in Row four at about the "50 yard line".  Arena rules now state No "professional" cameras so here are a few photos using "other".  Don't be too harsh as it was with stage lighting from the distance mentioned.  All considered I don't think some turned out too bad.

Arena manager wants Dave Matthews Band, Jimmy Buffett
JORDAN PASCALE: Lincoln Journal Star wrote:In a perfect world, Pinnacle Bank Arena Manager Tom Lorenz would book a personal favorite, Joni Mitchell, to play Lincoln. But she rarely tours.

So, Lorenz has more realistic targets — the Dave Matthews Band and Jimmy Buffett — he hopes will come to the new arena....

Great picture, that area looks amazing.  I hope the shamrock development commences soon so hopefully Omaha can start to fill in the parking lots by the CenturyLink Center.

Really shows an abrupt contrast from the Haymarket style to the suburban apt complexes in the background. Nice shot

Small nugget of info from the Husker / Northwestern Game yesterday. The flow was new again as of the Saturday game. It was the second game for the new floor and I assume the first game was the woman's game earlier in the week. When I went in the arena I thought that the darker stained area looked different and maybe darker. ding the game I was listening to some of the PbP and it was mentioned that it was new and had been replaced because the finish in the darker areas of the floor was pealing.

If you have any pics outside the arena in the Yard area that would be awesome if you could post!

Awesome, that will be a great show.

Anyone know what happened at Pearl Jam last night that caused a number of people to complain about PBA on FB?

Might be because the show started 45 minutes after the scheduled time possibly due to the line for band-requested pat-downs at the door.

Thanks!

I also saw someone say that Pearl Jam would not allow Club Seat holders to have their club seats for this show. I bet that put the Arena in a tricky situation...

That is in line with what I had read / heard. Added security over anything else that had been at PBA and the lines to get in were long and slow because of it. Some were not at the start even with the delay from what I have seen.
