Cherry Hills Village (I-680 and Blair High Rd)

Post by eomaha »

There's nothing particularly special about this new small retail center, except for the location. Along with Sorenson Park Plaza, I see developments like this as really affirming in a big way, the emergence of north/northwest Omaha as a significant submarket of it's own.

I go there all the time. That "Legands Patio Bar" is a great place to eat! They also have a huge 4 season patio. I also make it to Sam and Louies for a quick lunch.

Is Legends smokey? I have a 1 and 1/2 year old and wanted to try it for lunch some weekend. I like that we have a Zesto's out here. Also looks like some construction is going on in some of the other bays so there is more coming soon.

There is a motel being built up here --- not sure which brand.

They also opened up a Zestos and a day care last year. A Cherry Bean Coffee shop -- http://cherrybeancoffee.net  == opened this past spring.

Holiday Inn Express.

Zestos has been open over a year and seems to do good business.

Any estimates as to when that motel will be finished?  Got some relatives coming to town...

Anyone know what's being built on the outer drive here? We just moved nearby and in the last month some dirt moving has been happening and now some steel beams are up. Didn't see a coming soon sign.

I can't remember but I thought there was a story from the world herald posted on here somewhere about the hotel. I looked but couldn't find the post.

Someone could search for building permits:

7101 N 102 CR
7047 N 102 CR
7111 N 102 CR

Or I can look later.

It looks like there's some more dirt moving around again closer to Blair High, anyone know what might be being built?

I think there are now more Starbuck’s in Omaha than Meth dealers.
Judging from the long lines at the drive throughs they are each in similar lines of work.

There's a place there called WD Cravings. They don't open until 7 so I don't think it's really a coffee place, but they do have coffee. It was previously Cherry Hills Coffee I think.

This Starbucks will cause a traffic problem there. Especially when the Celebrity development starts filling in and exits off Potter or that light. There is currently no plan for a light on Potter and Hwy 133. Phase 1 is over 300 homes.

They have been doing traffic studies but... Might be time to move.
