That must be paid attendance as there are a lot of open seats.

I am going to guess that every attendance figure for any event, anywhere in the country, for the past decade or more has been "paid"...

I missed Friday's game, but I thought Saturday was a solid crowd given it was a holiday weekend and all.

Probably. On Friday, there were a good half the student seats empty and easily 25% of the club seats empty. Just from my perspective from section 115.

I might go see a hockey game at UNO someday. Then again I might not. I could go either way.

It's almost like there was a holiday or something, and school wasn't in session.

The student absence is reasonable. The rest is interesting.

Omaha beat Arizona State Hockey tonight 3 to 1 at the Baxter. Solid crowd for this time of the year.

Same two teams tomorrow at TWO in the Afternoon!

We went to the Sunday afternoon game vs. Arizona State, our first time at Baxter. They never played the SNL "more cowbell" clip with Christopher Walken, which we've seen at EVERY game when they played at CenturyLink. What's up with that? They sell "More Cowbell" t-shirts at Baxter but don't play that clip any more?

What's with all the empty seats, especially in the lower bowl? Selling 6000 season tickets doesn't mean as much if people don't show up at the games.

Lots of corporate seats that often don't get used.

I think Saturday night's crowd was fantastic considering it was the weekend before Xmas (a lot of people were headed out of town for the holidays already, plus NU volleyball downtown. corporate Xmas parties Etc). I coach youth hockey and it seemed like every team was down a few players due to the families already being gone.

Sunday was a smaller crowd but still good. We were lucky in that my son's game was in the morning. I know a lot of other families that had to miss the game or only saw part of it because they had games.

Then the owners of those seats should give them up to someone who will actually attend the games.

They still play it. But that's meant to be a crowd motivator so may be they didn't feel the need to play it in a 6-0 blowout?

Besides what others have said about bad attendance during the holidays, the very few Sunday afternoon hockey games never drawn well.

UNO would be well served to host a return policy for tickets that the corp donors can't use. Plenty of UNO students and others that cant afford them might well be able to afford a last minute ticket like Opera Omaha's Student Rush.
